Ordering & Pricing
Payment, quotes, financing, and real pricing.
Do I have to pay the full price up front?
For in-stock safes, yes — payment at order. For special-order and custom-built safes from Hayman, we typically take a 50% deposit and the balance before delivery. We'll tell you which category your safe falls into before you commit.
Are the prices on the site actually real?
Yes — the listed price is what you pay for the safe delivered and installed on the ground floor within Brevard County. If we have to take it upstairs, down a basement staircase, across rough terrain, or through a tight access point, there's an additional labor charge because those installs take more people, more equipment, and more time. We'll always quote the stairs/access fee up front before you commit — no surprise charges on delivery day.
Do you price-match?
We'll take a look. Send us the competitor's advertised price for an identical model and we'll get back to you. Just keep in mind many online safe dealers don't include delivery or installation — when you add those costs in, our price is often the better deal already.
Do you offer financing?
For larger purchases, yes. Call us to discuss options — we can often work something out for commercial buyers and on larger residential vaults.
Delivery & Installation
Lead times, stairs, old safe removal, and service areas.
Is delivery really free?
Yes, free ground-floor delivery and installation within Brevard County on every safe we sell. Stairs, upper floors, basements, and tough-access installs carry an additional labor fee because they require extra crew and equipment — we'll quote it before you order. Outside Brevard we deliver throughout Indian River, Volusia, Orange, and Osceola counties for a flat travel fee.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock safes usually ship in 3–7 business days. Special orders and larger custom safes from Hayman Safe Co. in Oviedo, FL typically take 2–4 weeks to build. We'll give you a real timeline before you order.
Can you install upstairs?
Usually yes, but it depends on the safe weight and your staircase. Gun safes over ~750 pounds often need special equipment, extra crew, and sometimes a structural check. Upstairs installs carry an additional labor fee — tell us what you're thinking before you order and we'll quote it so there are no surprises.
Do you haul away my old safe?
Yes, for a flat fee. Size, access, whether it's currently anchored, and whether it's upstairs all factor in — let us know when you schedule and we'll quote it.
Choosing a Safe
Size, ratings, and lock types — picking what's actually right for you.
How do I know what size safe I need?
Whatever you think you need, buy one size larger. Nearly every customer we've ever had came back wishing they'd gone bigger. Gun owners especially — a 24-gun safe holds maybe 14 actual long guns once you factor in scopes, accessories, and angles.
Fire rating vs. burglary rating — which matters more?
Depends on what you're protecting. Irreplaceable documents, photos, digital media — prioritize fire rating. Cash, jewelry, firearms — prioritize burglary rating. Most good safes have both, but the balance shifts with the use case. We'll help you pick.
Electronic lock, combination dial, or biometric?
Electronic is fastest and most common. Mechanical dials are nearly indestructible but slow. Biometric (fingerprint) readers are convenient but fail more often than manufacturers admit — we don't recommend biometric as the primary lock. All of our safes ship with a backup key override.
After the Sale
Warranty, service, lockouts, and safes you didn't buy from us.
What if I forget my combination?
Don't drill it yourself. Call us. As a working locksmith shop (Key-En-Lock, our parent company), we do safe openings all over Brevard County using manipulation or a manufacturer's recovery path. We can usually get you back in without damaging the safe.
What warranty comes with my safe?
Every safe carries its manufacturer's warranty — terms vary by brand. Our installation workmanship is guaranteed for one year. If an anchor fails or a hinge binds, call us, we fix it.
Do you service safes you didn't sell?
Yes. We handle safe moves, openings, lock changes, and combination resets for any brand, any safe, anywhere in Brevard. 25+ years of locksmithing experience behind every service call.
Can I add a second user to my electronic lock?
Most electronic locks support multiple user codes. We set it up during installation, or we can come back and add users later if your needs change.
